I typically use the SPF 50, but picked up the SPF 60 recently. Unlike some reviewers, I didn't notice much of a difference between the 50 and the 60 (going on vacation and not applying frequently enough is not the fault of the sunscreen...).It is not the easiest to rub in, but I find it works pretty well to apply and then wait about 30 seconds to rub in any white residue still visible. The larger bottle is also convenient for groups or situations where you don't want to have to go buy a bottle every few days. I have allergies, and any scent usually bothers me, but I gave it a try. Luckily, the scent seemed to fade after a while, so it wasn't the deal breaker. The worst part was the stickiness - even after it dried, it was sticking to my clothes - ugh. The one (and only) good thing about it: it's so sticky that it glued the earpieces of my sunglasses to my head, and they didn't slide down my nose as usual. This year, I'm going with Banana Boat Babies spf 50 - no smell, no sticky. |
