All of the natural sunscreens will be white and harder to blend in. This one came out of the tube easiest, blended in easiest, and didn't smell stale or like dirt like the other ones (You know, that cheap dollar store lotion smell). This is the first sunscreen that my irish husband and son can use and not burn, which is a miracle for me. Other lotions I'm comparing it to; Alba, Coola, Badger, Burnout, Kidsport, Tropical Sands. Whenever we go to the beach, my friends use Waterbabies and Banana Boat and all that crap and they always burn like lobsters. But this stuff has zinc in it- which is what really makes it work. This sun cream has a very light texture and applies & absorbs easily on the skin. Even with heavy application, there is no embarrasing white makeup look on your face.
