We spent a week at the beach I used this everyday and I never burned it works good. The only complaint I might have is that it is hard to spread. It goes on like a thick white goop and once you get it spread you are covered, but spreading it can be a challenge. I am an adult and only used it on adults, We didn't have any babies around to try it on.
