I normally avoid using sunscreen for all the messy and unpleasant sensation when putting it on or wearing it. I am an outdoor person with sensitive skin, so not using sunscreen is really a bad habit for me - with occasional painful consequences. A couple months ago I got a package of ActiveUse sunscreen as a gift from a good friend, and decided to give it a try for a few days around house and on a weekend hike. I was very pleasantly surprised with how it felt putting on, quickly absorbed, and there was absolutely no greasy/sweaty sensation while having it on even on a strenuous hike.Two weeks ago I was on a tropical scuba trip and had taken the ActiveUse package in my dive gear. I could not be happier that I had it - no sunburns on the longer boat rides to the dive sites, no sunburns while rinsing my gear, no smears in my dive mask from having sunscreen on my face, and no problem putting it on salty wet skin when coming out of the water. This suncreen is totally great. Lately I've been trying to use products free of harmful ingredients, and this fits the bill. I've noticed that my rosacea is a lot less noticeable since I stared using this in earnest. You only need a little bit, too, so it's a very good value, in addition to being high-quality. I really loved this product. Not only does it work really well, but it doesn't give you the icky sticky feeling that most well working sunscreens do. It also leaves my skin softer than before I put it on, which is an added bonus. Plus, I love the big bottle/little bottle set up. I can keep the big bottle at home to use in the mornings, and throw the little one in my purse to have all day long. The quantity and quality of the sunscreen you get make it definitely worth the price! |
