Thank You packaging designers of TruKid for putting information I want to know in big letters, so let me go over the things I like about TruKid Sunny Days. Here are the words I like about it: natural, SPF30+, mineral, non-chemical, safe for kids and babies. Yep, I think that pretty much summarizes it. The biggest problem I normally have with good natural sun blocks - they are not easy to apply. The "not-so-good" sunscreens apply just like butter, fast and easy. Well, TruKids is a great natural sunscreen that is smooth and easy to apply. It's well rated for safety from the Environmental Working Group, and it outperforms the other "safe" sunscreens I've tried-- it's not sticky or hard to apply, and the white color fades in easily. It also works very well. On a recent beach trip, my daughter wore this sunscreen while my dad and brother wore Banana Boat-- they both got burned and she didn't.The 2-pack is a much better deal than the single tube. It brings the cost per tube down significantly, at the same shipping rate. It spreads on pretty well and they orange smell is pleasant. It tends to come out of the tube a little too quickly. The price has come down a bit, but it's still $8.50 for a two ounce tube, which is pretty absurd. How expensive can these ingredients really be? |
