I bought this, based on the other reviews, because I spend a lot of time outside in the summer and my hair, particularly on the crown, really bleaches out and ends up dry & damaged. For several years I've faithfully worn hats & scarves in summertime but I was woefully tired of that. I used this spray a few times but the scent is so overpowering, like cheap hairspray (think Aquanet), that I could still smell it wafting around me later in the day - and I was sure other people could too. And not in a good way.
