We normally use the cream, which I will plug here as well, since it doesn't leave a white film and really works well. We got the spray for our trip to Disney, and for ease of application by our children. While it is a bit oily on the skin (the cream is NOT), we were very pleased with the coverage and the duration of protection. Nobody burned in the hot Florida sun, and even the fairest of us only reapplied to shoulders once.
