Badger Organics Sunscreen Spf 30 2.9 Oz (Pack of 4) Reviews

We prefer the consistency of this to other recommended sunscreens. It seems to stay on for a long time and my child prefers the feeling of it on her skin. It has a slight scent, but not a chemical one, actually similar to the natural bug repellents we like as well! Price can't be beat when it's offered as a 4-pack. They used to carry this at Whole Foods, but haven't seen it there recently. It's also in a size that can be carried on a plane, which is very convenient. Trying out their lip balm, too! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Erika Queen "--Erika" (Washington) - See all my reviews This review is from: Badger Organics Sunscreen Spf 30 2.9 Oz (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty) This was a great sunscreen! I was a little nervous of looking like a "Cullen," with a white sheen as others have mentioned, but with a tiny bit of effort, all the white was rubbed in. I did get burnt one day, in Hawaii, after playing in the waves for six hours without reapplying, but my husband, who used a "conventional" sunscreen was much worse off than I was.I'd buy this again, and will! 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Babs McBee (Silver Spring, MD) - See all my reviews This review is from: Badger Organics Sunscreen Spf 30 2.9 Oz (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty) I used this product on a recent beach trip. The label says that it "retains SPF after 40 minutes activity in the water". That is a lie. I applied the sunscreen liberally and even waited 15 minutes before going outside to really let it soak into my skin. I was only in the ocean for about 30 minutes before heading back inside for lunch, but I ended up almost as burn on my face as if I had not worn any sunscreen at all. This product seems to work well for dry activities, but does not seem to be all that water resistant and certainly does not live up to the claim on the label. |
